Palais des congrès de Montréal

Background: Quebec's must-attend cycling event
The Montreal Bicycle Show (Salon du Vélo de Montréal) is the annual event par excellence for all cycling enthusiasts in the region. Held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, this public event brings together the biggest brands in the bicycle industry, the latest innovations in equipment, and thousands of visitors eager to discover the season's novelties. From road bikes to mountain bikes and electric bikes, the show covers the entire cycling universe and attracts seasoned cyclists and families alike looking for their next riding companion. It was in this bustling and highly competitive environment that Cycle Néron chose to make their presence a true visual statement.
Cycle Néron: Quebec's cycling authority for over 50 years
Founded in 1970, Cycle Néron is a family business that has established itself as the go-to reference for cycling in Quebec and the Greater Montreal area. With five stores strategically located across the territory — in Nun's Island, Brossard, Lachine, Boucherville, and Montreal —, the banner has been supporting generations of cyclists in choosing their equipment, from road and mountain bikes to electric and hybrid models. More than just a retailer, Cycle Néron sets itself apart through the expertise of its advisors, its passion for cycling, and its commitment to an unparalleled customer experience. Participating in the Montreal Bicycle Show was therefore the perfect opportunity to highlight their latest arrivals and connect with their cycling community.
Six 6.5-foot LED screens: a 360-degree environment that stops pass-byers
Faced with high foot traffic and the need to stand out in one of Montreal's busiest exhibition halls, Cycle Néron opted for a bold and immersive LED display solution. Six 6-foot-5-inch-tall LED screens were strategically deployed at the three corners of the booth, creating a true 360-degree LED environment. This setup transformed the booth into a visual experience in its own right: the dynamic content broadcast on each of the screens showcased the season's new products, their technical specifications, and, above all, an aspirational projection of what a cyclist feels once in the saddle — a powerful way to project visitors into the product experience before they even try it.
Integration and design: the largest booth at the event
The layout of the screens was designed to maximize visual impact from all angles. Set up in a triangle at the three strategic points of the booth — one of the largest, if not the largest booth at the event — the six LED totems created an immersive visual coherence that literally enveloped visitors as soon as they entered the space. The brightness of the screens, perfectly calibrated for the exhibition environment, allowed content to be displayed with remarkable clarity and sharpness, highlighting every detail of the bicycles on display. The entire setup exuded a modern and dynamic aesthetic, perfectly aligned with Cycle Néron's premium brand image.
Impact: a booth that captivated young and old alike
The installation immediately generated a massive attraction effect in the aisles of the show. Visitors stopped spontaneously in front of the screens, captivated by the fluidity of the animations and the quality of the visuals. The excitement exceeded all expectations: even the youngest visitors could not take their eyes off the LED totems, holding the attention of their parents at the same time. This digital display allowed Cycle Néron to:
Create the most noticed focal point of the event,
Communicate dynamically and memorably about their new product arrivals,
Generate natural conversations with visitors regarding specs and new features,
Reinforce their innovative brand image with a multi-generational clientele.
Conclusion: digitalizing the experience, amplifying the impact
By choosing a 360-degree LED installation with six 6-foot-5-inch totem screens, Cycle Néron successfully transformed its participation in the Montreal Bicycle Show into an immersive and memorable experience. Well beyond a simple display, this setup digitized the entire exhibition space, showcased each product in an impactful way, and created a strong emotional connection with visitors. The result speaks for itself: a booth that didn't just attract attention — it held it.
